Done with a striper and detailer from Winstonia Store. Check “Dandelion” post for a detailed review. Can be purchased here: http://winstoniastore.com/nail-art/brushes/8-pcs-nail-art-brushes-pink.html
Start with white nails. Here I used two coats of Cult Nails “Tempest”
Make the nails ‘ruffian’ by outlining the top of the nail with black. I did this freehand but you can also use a reinforcement as a guide. There are many tutorials for this if you Google it!
Add black tips! I also freehanded these but if you don’t have a steady hand or are just starting out you can use striping tape.
With a detail brush, add open circular shapes throughout. I like to start at the top and work my way down.
You can make some of the shapes open on one end as well.
Fill entire nail, but make sure they aren’t too close together.
Add little “C’ shapes all throughout and in between the circles.
Continue this process on every nail.
Seal in your design with a glossy or matte top coat, and you’re done!
**If you’re ever inspired by me or recreate one of my manicures, hashtag (#)nailstormed on Instagram so I can see and possibly feature it at the end of each month!!**
